It is recommended to use
▪ Tear pouch open when ready to use (may take 30 minutes to reach therapeutic temperature).
▪ Peel off the paper to expose the sticky side.
▪ Apply next to the skin to the painful area. See "Do Not Use" section for areas where it does not apply.
▪ Stick it firmly.
▪ Be careful when applying to the wrist - do not overlap the heating element.
▪ Lay the package flat. Do not fold, overlap or bundle hot batteries as this increases your risk of burns.
If 55 and over:
▪ When applying to the lower back/buttocks, wear the heat patch over a layer of clothing, not directly on the skin.
▪ When applying to knees or elbows, wear heat patches on a towel or cloth (such as a washcloth), not directly on the skin.
▪ Wear for up to 8 hours. Do not wear for more than 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
Instructions:
1. Make sure the skin in the application area is clean, dry and free from make-up, and has recently used skin moisturizers, lotions and other topical pain relievers.
2. Lay the wrap flat on your skin, making sure the deeper heat cells are facing the skin.
3. Be careful when handling the package to prevent over tightening.
